This can be accomplished only by a red-hot, unconventional, unfettered devotion, in the power of the Holy Spirit, to the Lord Jesus Christ.

--C.T. It ties in nicely with what brother Paul Washer preached a few days ago with his Ten Indictments (though this was preached much earlier in 2002).

Thank you for sharing this.

Soli deo Gloria!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3168783804530687434.post-46332639873571697452008-10-26T11:18:00.000-07:002008-10-26T11:18:00.000-07:00My friend,Good luck trying to work out your own Sa...My friend,

Good luck trying to work out your own Salvation through works. Christ did for us what no man could do by himself. Not one is sinless, no, not one. Yes, we are to love others as our self. Christ paid for my sins AND EVERY ONES SINS, on the cross and what He Accomplished
there was FINISHED. IT IS OUR JOB TO RECOGNIZE how rotten we are in our sin and even our righteousness (loving others as our selves) is as filthy rags !
Once we see that, we need to REPENT -TURN from the way and power of sin and TURN TO GOD and accept His GIFT OF SALVATION through FAITH. I and all the Body of Christ are His and no one
can pluck us out of His hand. Not the Pope or any counterfeit false tradition of men with their creeds of men that deny the Saving Finished Work Of Christ on the Cross.
Thank God for His
Saving Work on the Cross,
Sincerely,
BrotherMarkAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14167941498808993659noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3168783804530687434.post-88487593019884195592008-10-26T08:58:00.000-07:002008-10-26T08:58:00.000-07:00If you wish to be obedient to God, you must obey w...If you wish to be obedient to God, you must obey what Jesus told his disciples/followers to do. The words of Jesus are the words of God.

This includes Luke 12:33, "Sell what you have and give to those in need".

What he meant was:-

His disciples/followers should not have more than the poorest (where they live) are able to have.

Have you done this yet, because a person should not preach obedience to God, then not do what he has preached. As Jesus said, "do what they say, not what they do".

I have a website which you can find on my profile which may help make this clearer for you.

Regards, Richard SheldrickRichardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03226252793412548762noreply@blogger.com
