Lead Me Not Into Temptation ...what that means...

It does not matter if you believe me
or any church or scientist or the Pope.....

God has a plan that He will right all the wrongs
on earth.... No, the world is not going to go on
and on and on like it is presently.

He will directly INTERVENE IN THE AFFAIRS OF THIS WORLD...SOON!

The big question for all is what side do you want to be on
when it all comes down?

Listen to this message and believe God not the traditions of men!

Rev 3:10 "Because thou has kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, that shall come upon all the world to try them that dwell upon the earth."

Notice Jesus says ..I will keep thee from... - He does not say "take the out of".

The preacher in the video says 'keep thee from' means we will be removed from the earth and uses 'the hour' (a point set in time) as proof of this. This is not correct....

"keep thee from" is the Greek word "tereo"and the word "from" is "ek".

Tereo means to: hold fast, keep, keeper, observe, preserve, reserve, watch, continue, guard, heed, and keeping guard over. "ek" (from) can mean, out of , from, by, or away from. These are ALL of the meanings found in Strong's - not just one rendering of the meaning as many preachers use today.

So let's not go by the teachings and man but instead, let's find another verse in the Bible that will give us the correct meaning.

Let's look at another verse that uses the EXACT same word as Rev 3:10 does and compare.

This same exact wording is found in John 17:15 which says: "I pray not that thou take them out of the world, but that thou should keep them from the evil.
"
Jesus clearly says "not" to take them out in John 17:15 so how can the I will keep thee from of Rev 3:10 mean I will take thee out of? Jesus does not contradict Himself.

This verse in John 17:15 gives us the correct meaning for Rev 3:10 as evidenced by the EXACT same words used. And if that wasn't enough, the reading of John's verse itself states the meaning without getting into the Greek.

There is a site that explains some of these erroneous pre-trib verses. I have contributed to this page and wrote the above (so no copyright violations apply) and it has all been incorporated into one post for brevity's sake. I ask that you please read this and let the Holy Spirit teach you. The majority of churches are teaching this pre-trib view today which is a new teaching - relatively about 100 years old. Our church fathers never taught it, neither did Jesus. I used to be pre-trib myself but after much study, I have found this to be a doctrine of man.

Carol,

I appreciate your post t effort.
(1) "I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation", means we will never have to go into it because The Lord will take us to Himself before the time of His wrath occurs. We will be kept from the hour and won't have to be taken out of it. We will already
be in Heaven when it occurs.

(2) "I pray not that thou take them out of the world, but that thou should keep them from the evil."

Jesus was speaking of this present
age of grace when He spoke those words. He Himself, set the standard about how He would do it.

John 14:3 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

Yes, Scripture and Jesus will
come again and take us to Himself
as he promised at the end of this age, just before the Tribulation.

Too many points Post T cannot answer:

The majority of the churches today
are not pre-trib. the majority is amillennial, replacement theology,
post-trib. For all this misconception
we can thank Augustine who decided
not to preach a literal view of prophecy because they say the evil
rulers will be taken over by the govt
of God. He being a Roman ruler
had to go to non-literal to by step
the literal truth of Rev and other
prophecy of his coming again.

Reformation did not change this
and RRC, most protestant, and cults
too, still have incorrect scriptural view on prophecy to this day.
