Jesus Is..Lord and Savior

Regardless of your opinion on the Rapture,
this is the most important thing in the Bible to understand:
My friend.. Wide gate out there that is teaching the exact
opposite of the Scriptural truth about the "TRUE GOSPEL" of Christ.
Enter through the narrow gate....for "WIDE" is the gate that leads
to destruction:

Jesus Is
Lord And Saviour.

If your time ends regardless of the rapture can you say with certainty you would be in the arms of the Lord?
Are you saved, born again as Jesus said we must be to enter the Kingdom of God. John 3:5?
Should the rapture take place this very day would you go to meet the Lord in the air?
Do you believe and know Jesus as your very own personal Lord and Saviour?

John 14.
14:6. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

If we should look to our religion, our denominational tag for salvation or works, praying to people classified as saints by man such as Mary and Joseph who have passed on, two who come to mind; Heb. 9:27. "And as it is laid up to men once to die, and after this judgment." We will find ourselves sadly disappointed. There is only one way, only one man in whom we have the guarantee of an eternal glorious life, the man Christ Jesus. 1Tim. 2:5.

Hebrews 9.
9:28. So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for Him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Not that I have anything against Mary or Joseph as they are both a beloved sister and brother in Christ and nothing more or less other than Mary was indeed blessed by God being the mother of the man Christ Jesus. Luke 1:28, 42, 45. She apart from being blessed by God also needed a saviour; Luke 1:47. "And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour."

If you found this page you are I assume are wondering as to whether you could actually qualify be part of Gods great plan of salvation. To be part of His heavenly plan for all mankind as Jesus told all who will listen in Matthew 9:13. "For I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."

Romans 10:13. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Not one person other than Jesus Himself has been or ever will be born into this world sinless.
Romans 3.
3:10. As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.
3:23. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.
Romans 5.
5:12. Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.
Romans 6.
6:23. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Take a short look at just a few of the ten commandments.
Have you ever used the Lords name as a sware or curse word even if only out of habit? If so what dose that make you? The commandments would label you a blasphemer, one who takes the Lords name in vain.
Have you ever told a lie, even just one a small seemingly harmless one? What dose that one small lie make you? If your honest with yourself you will know and admit it makes you a liar.
Have you ever taken something that didn't belong to you in other words stolen no matter how small? Again if your honest with yourself you will know it makes you a thief.
Have you ever had an adulterous affair or even just thought of entering into one with a particular person? If so the Bible, Gods word would stamp the word adulterer on your forehead even if nothing actually took place, it never grew past the thought stage.
Jesus told us in Matthew 5:28. But I say to you, That whoever looks at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.

Thinking of a simple childlike scenario, I guess living a sinful life could be like being in a plane that has suffered a fatal hit, all engines are afire and there is nothing surer she is going down. Parachutes are available but you refuse to put one on and make the decision not to jump thinking you will ride out the high speed fiery decent and somehow survive the devastating impact.

I have heard many say things like, I haven't been to bad, God is merciful He will forgive me He wont send me to hell. This is also sinful in itself, it is setting up a god that suits the person, a false god, it is idolatry. God is indeed merciful and He loves all of us so much that He allowed Jesus to die that cruel death, His precious Blood was shed and poured on the Fathers mercy seat on our behalf, paying the price for our sins. He did what no man could ever do no matter how good or not to bad any of us feel we maybe. Yes God is merciful but He is also faithful to His word so much so He is even bound by it.

Psalm 89.
89:34. My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of My lips.

Without receiving Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour with a repentant heart that fiery decent will sadly end in a fiery eternity which I am sure when given some thought you as I don't want.

Ephesians 5.
5:3. But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
5:4. Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
5:5. For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
5:6. Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

Jesus made the free gift of eternal salvation, living with Him eternally available to all through the price He paid for our sins on that cruel barbaric cross. His precious Blood was shed, the Blood of Jesus poured on the Fathers mercy seat on our behalf washing away all our sins making us presentable, sinless before the Father, our God. Just three simple steps that cost nothing more than a little of your time will make the difference as to where you will spend eternity. Jesus didn't come to judge but to save us from the judgment at His second comming. Do I have a problem with sin? Did the Sun rise this morning? Not that I want the problem but because it will be with us while on this present fallen world I am grateful that I have a lawyer, a mediator to whom I can turn to daily in repentance, Jesus.

1John 1.
1:8. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1:9. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1:10. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and his word is not in us.

The gospel of salvation which is freely available to all who will turn to Jesus is so beautifully encompassed by the Apostle Paul in these two short verse from 1Corinthians. 15.

1Corinthians 15.
15:3. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures.
15:4. And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.

These three simple steps will make an eternity of difference.
1.

Admit that you are a sinner no mater how big or small you may feel your sins to be.
2.

Turn to Jesus and pour your heart out to Him in heart felt prayer tell Him of your sins and problems, believe me He wont be at all surprised by what you may have to say He has heard it from millions who made the right choice before you as He listened to me some twelve years or more ago and I wasn't at all what could be considered a nice type at the time. Just tell Him your sorry and ask His forgiveness He wont refuse you.
3.

Invite Him in to your life, your heart to be your Lord and Saviour then you can truly say "I am born again, a believer on the name of Jesus as Lord."

John 1.
1:12. But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name
John 3.
3:15. That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.
John 5.
5:24. Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that heareth my word, and believeth on Him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Just pray this simple prayer of repentance.

Heavenly Father I believe the Lord Jesus is your only begoten son, Jesus I believe You are the Son of God, I believe You came to this earth. I believe you died for me on the cross and shed Your blood for my salvation. I believe you rose from the dead and ascended on high. I believe You are coming back again. Jesus, I am a sinner forgive my sins. Cleanse me now with Your precious blood. Come into my heart, save my soul right now. I give you my life, I receive You now as my Lord and Savior, my God. I am Yours now forever, and I will serve You and follow You the rest of my life. From this moment on I belong to You only. I no longer belong to this world, or to the enemy of my soul. I belong to You, and I am born again. Amen.

Matthew 11.
11:28. Come to Me, all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
11:29. Take up my yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest to your souls.

Jesus is the perfect rest and peace from the heaviness and pressures our busy lives can place on us, from the sin that so easily ensnares us all. The answer to all the depressing problems we will ever have to face in life and the assurance of total forgiveness and relief from all that troubles us now and an eternally perfect future.

If you have said this prayer and meant it from the bottom of your heart you are now a new creation according to the word of God. Your life is no longer yours or the enemies but it now belongs to Christ, it is hidden in Christ. The enemy is not going to give up on you now, he is going to try and persuade you your sins are far to bad for God to ever forgive you, he is going to intensify his attack. Just remember this one truth anything he comes up with now is nothing more than lies from the pit of hell, the apostle Paul one of the greatest evangelists to the unsaved world was at one time a mass murder until Jesus came into his life.

Acts 8.
8:3. As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.
Acts 22.
22:4. And I persecuted this way unto the death, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women.
22:19. And I said, Lord, they know that I imprisoned and beat in every synagogue them that believed on thee:
22:20. And when the blood of thy martyr Stephen was shed, I also was standing by, and consenting unto his death, and kept the raiment of them that slew him.
Acts 26.
26:11. And I punished them oft in every synagogue, and compelled them to blaspheme; and being exceedingly mad against them, I persecuted them even unto strange cities.
Galations 1.
1:13. For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it.
1Timothy 1.
1:13. Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

If God can forgive Paul his hateful acts toward the church and inturn use him He will surly forgive you. If you said the prayer of repentance you as Paul are forgiven, the past has been washed away I would love to hear from you so if you wish to, fill in the form and I will gladly pray for and with you.

2Corinthians 5.
5:17. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

The word salvation not only means we all get to go to heaven when we die, Jesus stated without being born again we could not see or enter the Kingdom of God, John 3:3,5. Salvation is translated from the Greek saos and soteria meaning to save, deliver or protect, heal, preserve, do well, be made whole, rescue, safety, deliver and health. Looking into the various meanings it becomes very apparent that salvation is very much for the here now as it is eternally hence the new creation.

Romans.
6:6. Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
8:29. For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.

A new creation, you have not been changed upon receiving Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, you have actually become a new creation a new species of the human race Jesus being the first man of this new human species that you now are. Everything that was you has been done away with crucified on the cross with Him, the old person you once were has died, it died on that cross with Jesus, it simply no longer exists but a different and completely new human being replaces the old. People would tell me I had changed after receiving Christ but what they where actually looking at was a completely new man that never existed until that day.

You are now not only a new human species you are a son of God, you can call God your Father, you share in Gods glory through Christ Jesus who has not only made you a son but a priest and a king of the most high God. You can now ask what ever you desire of your Father who gives freely to all that ask, the desires of your heart and expect to receive whatever you ask.

John 14.
14:13. And whatsoever ye shall ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14:14. If ye shall ask any thing in My name, I will do it.
Revelation.
1:6. And hath made us kings and priests unto God and His Father; to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
5:10. And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

A Testimony Of faith - The Forty Matryrs.
"History knows them as the 40 martyrs of Sebaste. They were soldiers in the famed Twelfth Legion of Rome's imperial army, around A.D. 320. One day the captain informed his troops that Emperor Licinius had sent down an edict commanding all soldiers to offer a sacrifice to his pagan god. Forty of the soldiers were followers of Christ, and they refused.
The emperor decided to make an example of the soldiers, so he marched them onto a frozen lake and stripped them of their clothes. "Renounce your God and you will be spared from death," he told them. Not one man came forward. Throughout the night the men stayed together, singing their song of victory: "Forty Martyrs for Christ."
When morning came, 39 of the men had frozen to death. The one survivor recanted his confession of faith. The officer in charge that night had been so moved by the scene that during his watch he'd come to Jesus, so he broke rank and walked out onto the ice. Stripping his clothes he openly confessed his faith in Christ. He refused to renounce his new faith. When the ordeal was over, the Roman soldiers carried 40 frozen men off of the ice.
If faced with the same decision as these unknown faithful 40 I wonder at times how my strength of character, my faith in Christ would stand such a testing. Would life in this world mean more or could I stand knowing the eternity that was just moments away? I pray none of us in the Body will ever face such a testing but sadly many today still face trials as this.
From the book "Embracing Eternity" by Tim LaHaye.
