Another... Time To WATCH

CLEARLY, THERE IS A DIFFERNCE BETWEEN A WATCH AND A WARNING.
a GREAT MANY GET SO WRATHFUL AND MEAN TO THEIR FELLOW SERVANTS
AS THEY WATCH. They call them date setters and make fun of them. Treat them
like scum.....in other words, "they say our Lord delays His Coming, and go around BEATING
their fellow servants.. like with their tongues. This can be very painful to a brother or sister
in Christ. I am a watcher ! The Lord said to watch. He said we who are watching.........
(all possibilities FOR HIS RETURN) will not be surprised, not in the dark about these things.

........but if my servant will not WATCH, I will come at a time when he is not WATCHING !

This month may well come and go without the return of our Lord, but there are signs
that indicate this as a WATCH TIME.

WE ARE IN THE TIME TO BE WATCHING FROM NOW ON, UNTIL HE COMES.
Again I lovingly say, be caught WATCHING not SCOFFING.

WHO CAN KNOW THE TIME? WHO CANNOT KNOW THE TIME?

In conclusion of this topic, "WHO CAN KNOW THE TIME? WHO CANNOT KNOW THE TIME?" Many verses have answered these questions clearly. As was said in the beginning, in Dan 12:10-NONE OF THE WICKED SHALL UNDERSTAND; BUT THE WISE SHALL UNDERSTAND.
The Scriptures have shown that the Rapture will come as a surprise to many professing Christians, who were not wise, not faithful, and not watching. They will be left behind. Those of the darkness—that day shall overtake them as a thief-ref 1 Thes 5:4.
However, the Rapture will not come as a surprise to the true Christians that stood firm, that were wise, that were faithful, and that were watching. When Jesus comes to take His church, these faithful few will be taken.
The following verses may also be noted. Jesus said, I THANK THEE, O FATHER, LORD OF HEAVEN AND EARTH, THAT THOU HAST HID THESE THINGS FROM THE WISE AND PRUDENT, AND HAST REVEALED THEM UNTO BABES: EVEN SO, FATHER; FOR SO IT SEEMED GOOD IN THY SIGHT-Lk 10:21. They shall be EVER LEARNING, AND NEVER ABLE TO COME TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH-2 Tim 3:7. Those that are wise in their own eyes—the prideful, the unrepentant, those that are not humbled and childlike before God’s Word—will not understand. Though they study and study, they shall not come to the knowledge of the truth.
In addition, Jesus tells us, UNTO YOU IT IS GIVEN TO KNOW THE MYSTERIES OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD: BUT TO OTHERS IN PARABLES; THAT SEEING THEY MIGHT NOT SEE, AND HEARING THEY MIGHT NOT UNDERSTAND-Lk 8:10.
Misunderstanding of Scripture can often cause wrong traditions, which take hold and mislead people. Satan, who is the author of confusion, misuses Scripture to deceive people into thinking we cannot know the time. (Matt 24:36 has nothing to do with the Rapture !)
The people that do not want to know that Jesus will soon return to take His people, are those living in sin and do not want to repent. The fact that Jesus will soon return scares people that are not ready, and they often fight against the knowledge of the truth.
In addition, God’s Word tells us, it would be as the days of Noah. It is written, BEFORE THE FLOOD THEY WERE EATING AND DRINKING, MARRYING AND GIVING IN MARRIAGE, UNTIL THE DAY THAT NOAH (Noah) ENTERED INTO THE ARK, AND KNEW NOT UNTIL THE FLOOD CAME, AND TOOK THEM ALL AWAY; SO SHALL ALSO THE COMING OF THE SON OF MAN BE-Mt 24:38,39. God’s people knew that the flood was coming. The people that lived in sin did not believe it.
Noah was a preacher of righteousness, but the evil people of his day chose not to believe him; they perished. Your Will be done Lord, for if it is in June so come Lord Jesus ...
Strengthen us Lord to be Faithful Watchers and to be Led by the Spirit (Obedient) in truth. Oh Abba Father have mercy on us all, we don't deserve your riches, we pray to be found worthy to escape your wrath which you will lay upon the earth ...

Thank you Father, we hope to see you soon at your appointed time ... Come Lord Jesus, I can not wait to be with you and to feel your love, mercy, and forgiveness ! AMEN

THE PARABLE OF THE FIG TREE AND THE GENERATION

THE FIG TREE; WHEN HIS BRANCH IS YET TENDER, AND PUTTETH FORTH LEAVES, YE KNOW THAT SUMMER IS NIGH: SO LIKEWISE YE, WHEN YE SHALL SEE ALL THESE THINGS, KNOW THAT IT IS NEAR, EVEN AT THE DOORS. VERILY I SAY UNTO YOU, THIS GENERATION SHALL NOT PASS, TILL ALL THESE THINGS BE FULFILLED-Mt 24:32-34; ref Mk 13:28-30.
AND WHEN THESE THINGS "BEGIN" TO COME TO PASS, THEN LOOK UP, AND LIFT UP YOUR HEADS; FOR YOUR REDEMPTION DRAWETH NIGH. AND HE SPAKE TO THEM A PARABLE; BEHOLD THE FIG TREE, AND ALL THE TREES; WHEN THEY NOW SHOOT FORTH, YE SEE AND KNOW OF YOUR OWN SELVES THAT SUMMER IS NOW NIGH AT HAND. SO LIKEWISE YE, WHEN YE SEE THESE THINGS COME TO PASS, KNOW YE THAT THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS NIGH AT HAND. VERILY I SAY UNTO YOU, THIS GENERATION SHALL NOT PASS AWAY, TILL ALL BE FULFILLED-Lk 21:28-32.
In Mt 24:4 to 24:28, events of the Tribulation are described. In Mt 24:29-31, Jesus Christ returns immediately after the TRIBULATION OF THOSE DAYS, and the elect are gathered. The very next verse, number 32, then gives us the following, NOW LEARN (this comes forth as a command, "learn"). The next words tell us what to learn, A PARABLE OF THE FIG TREE (or the Israeli nation). Thus, the Israeli nation had to be reborn. This rebirth of the fig tree is outlined in Isa 66:8,9. WHEN HIS BRANCH IS YET TENDER (a new branch, a tender branch, a branch that has just come forth, a branch that has just sprung forth in tenderness after the winter), AND PUTTETH FORTH LEAVES (springs to life, people multiply, leaves come forth on the branches), YE KNOW (note the word "know") THAT SUMMER IS NIGH. You know certain things are going to happen. You know and recognize the times. You know that summer is near. SO LIKEWISE YE (in other words or in the same way), WHEN YE SHALL SEE ALL THESE THINGS. We may ask, "All what things?" The answer is, all the things that have just been described, which cover from Israel’s rebirth to the Tribulation, the return of Jesus to the earth, and the gathering of the elect. KNOW (again, we see the command to "know," or to recognize, or to be aware) THAT IT IS NEAR, EVEN AT THE DOORS-Mt 24:33. Then in verse 34, it concludes with this, VERILY I SAY UNTO YOU, THIS GENERATION. One may ask, "What generation has Jesus just been talking about?" The answer is the generation that would begin with the rebirth of Israel and see all these signs. "This generation" SHALL NOT PASS, TILL ALL THESE THINGS BE FULFILLED.
In Lk 21:8-27, God has given a picture of the Tribulation and the second coming of Jesus Christ. Then, in Lk 21:28-32, it is written, AND WHEN THESE THINGS BEGIN (note the word "begin") TO COME TO PASS, THEN LOOK UP, AND LIFT UP YOUR HEADS; FOR YOUR REDEMPTION DRAWETH NIGH. These things are coming to pass. Watch and be ready.
AND HE (Jesus) SPAKE TO THEM A PARABLE; BEHOLD THE FIG TREE (behold, Israel as a nation, behold Israel’s rebirth, which is outlined in Isa 66:8,9), AND ALL THE TREES (and all the nations) (these were covered previously); WHEN THEY NOW SHOOT FORTH (when Israel and the other nations shoot forth), YE SEE AND KNOW (note "we know") OF YOUR OWN SELVES THAT SUMMER IS NOW NIGH AT HAND (you know that certain things lie ahead or you know the times). SO LIKEWISE YE, WHEN YE SEE THESE THINGS COME TO PASS (when you see all the events that have been outlined come to pass), KNOW YE (a command to know) THAT THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS NIGH AT HAND (know that the Millennium is near at hand).
As mentioned previously, there are two sets of events to look for. 1-When these things begin to come to pass, we are to know that the Rapture is about to take place. 2-When these things have taken place then the followers of Jesus, which got saved during the Tribulation and survived, are commanded to know that the kingdom of God is near at hand.
Then in verse 32-VERILY I SAY UNTO YOU, THIS GENERATION (What generation? The generation of "BEHOLD THE FIG TREE" that will see all these events.); THIS GENERATION shall not pass away till all be fulfilled. The last thing to be fulfilled is the gathering of the elect right after the Battle of Armageddon.
Based on these verses, some bring forth a question, "Is it possible the Lord has given us a time period to consider?" Some Bible prophecy scholars do believe the last generation began with Israel’s rebirth on, May 14, l948.
As we look at Scripture and world events unfolding, we should know and understand more deeply as the end draws closer and closer.

But clearly, we are in the generation of the fig tree: the generation that will see all these things come to pass. I know I am, ....I was born in 1948.

I tend to lean toward the Sunday, June 15th rapture scenario , although personally I have the whole month of June circled in red on my calendar.
However, if we relate it to what the Bible says about First Fruits and Pentecost:
First, Leviticus 23:5 nails down Passover: "In the fourteenth day of the first month (Nisan) at even is the LORD's passover." (This year 14 Nisan goes from sunset April 18 - sunset April 19 )
The Feast of Unleavened Bread is also specifically specified in the next verse: "And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread." This seven-day feast began on 15 Nisan and goes through 21 Nisan (sunset Saturday, April 19th - sunset Saturday, April 26th, 2008).
Leviticus 23:10-11 further specifies: "Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest: And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it."
The wave offering would be on the Sunday after the Sabbath, which this year fell on 22 Nisan (sunset Saturday, April 26th - sunset Sunday, April 27th, 2008).
From that point, we can begin counting the fifty inclusive days of the Omer from the chart below taken from http://www.karaite-korner.org/omer.shtml.
This brings us to Shavuot, Feast of Weeks or Pentecost Sunday on Sunday, June 15, 2008 (Father's Day).
Chuck Missler agrees with this counting method. But even more interesting, have a listen to this 90-second snippet from his "Learn the Bible in 24 Hours" session #5. Chuck is normally not a date-setter. But in this short segment he makes an interesting analogy and this is the only time he ever says that we should keep a watchful eye on a specific date:

Sivan - Third Month
(May/June)

Sixth of Sivan (50 Days after Feast of Firstfruits)
***THE FEAST OF WEEKS

Leviticus 23:16,21

(Pentecost - 50 days) (Feast of Harvest)

Giving of the Holy Spirit to the Church Acts 2:1-4

Missler also feels this could be the date for The Rapture. He shows this is the only feast which allowed leavened bread (Gentile flavor), and that this is also known as the Feast of Harvest, and that Jesus used "the harvest" as an idiom to refer to the ingathering of believers.)
