Are You Ready For What Is Coming?

The great moment of our time

We live in a time that is unique in all history. Current events in light of bible prophecy is screaming of the major changes about to take place on planet Earth. But without knowing what to look for, the majority are oblivious to how serious the situation is. Do you know what to look for? Where are your priorities?

IN 1948 a major fulfillment of bible prophecy occurred.

Isa 66:8 Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? [or] shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.

The nation of Israel was formed again on the biblical land the God gave Abraham, just as God said would happen.

Eze 37:21 And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:

Israel is critical to all end times prophecy. The bible says that eventually all the world is against Israel, and tries to destroy it led by the antichrist. That was impossible without the Jewish state in existence. As was all the other end times prophecies in relation to Israel. Those prophecies can now be fulfilled, are we can see the stage being set for the worst period in human history... the tribulation. A period of 7 years where God pours out His wrath on the Earth, and antichrist controls the world.

There is another prophecy in particular that looks near at hand to being fulfilled.

ISA 17:1 The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from [being] a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.

When you hear the description "ruinous heap" what does that bring to mind? Damascus will not even look like a city. It will be a pile of remains of what once was. A nuclear weapon could bring about that fulfillment. There is a situation with Israel and Syria that has not been covered much by the main media. Syria has raised the state of alert of its armed forces because it knows Hizbullah's revenge attack against Israel for the killing of Imad Mughniyeh, a top Hizbullah commander, is near. Soon after Mughniyeh's death, Israel warned Syria that it would hold it responsible for any revenge attack launched by Hizbullah for the killing of Mughniyeh, its operations officer. Syria has accused Israel of being behind the assassination. Syria has deployed three military divisions along the borders with Lebanon amidst mounting tension in the region. A division is a large military unit or formation usually consisting of around ten to twenty thousand soldiers. Associated Press DID report that the U.S. Navy has sent at least three ships to the eastern Mediterranean Sea in a show of strength during a period of tensions with Syria and political uncertainty in Lebanon in the month of March. According to senior Israeli and European officials later that month Israel secretly conveyed a message to Damascus through a third party that it would hold it accountable for any Hizbullah assault. Israel has made it known to Syria that it will directly attack Damascus if they are attacked by Hizbullah, and Hizbullah is likely to use chemical weapons in their next major attack on Israel. Israel would respond in kind with weapons of mass destruction, namely nuclear weapons.

There are prophecies in the bible that made no sense to those living outside this time period. The bible says the 2 supernatural witnesses who preach during the tribulation period will be killed after 3 and 1/2 years, and the whole world sees their bodies in the space of 3 and 1/2 days lying in the street.

Rev 11:9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.

Before global communications, such as satellite TV and 24 hour news coverage, this was not possible. How would everyone in the world view something happening in just one city all at the same time? People back in the day this was written could not fathom the knowledge explosion mankind has achieved; could not imagine how people can now cross the globe in a about a day, and view events occurring thousands of miles away in a moment on a modern times invention called the television.

Another prophecy in the bible confused people as to how such a thing could be fulfilled that is unique to our generation.

Zec 14:12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

Before the modern age, it was far from people's minds how a prophecy such as this could be fulfilled. However, now for the first time in history mankind has attained a power it has never had before. Enough power to destroy the entire planet. Nuclear weapons are a reality in the age we live in, and now this prophecy is easy to discern. Jesus also warned that mankind would have this ability, and that if He did not return when He did no one would survive.

Mat 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

The bible also mentions the attitudes people would display in the last days, and we are seeing this come true more and more in our day.

Rom1:29-32 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Does this describe anyone you know? Does it describe you?

So many live in the last days without holding the promises of God close to heart, or even without knowing them at all. There is one in particular that gives real hope to counter the peril of our day.

JHN 14:1-3 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if [it were] not [so], I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, [there] ye may be also. -JESUS CHRIST

Jesus has directly promised that He is preparing a place for us in heaven, and that He will come again to take us there to be with Him, so we can be there too. Simple as even a child would understand. This is drastically different from the prophecies in the bible of Christ returning to set up His kingdom on Earth and to punish a wicked world. God is going to take His people to go and be with Him in a moment.

1THESS 4:16-18 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

This is a description of the rapture of the church, or bride of Christ.

MATT 13:10-11 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

One of these mysteries is the rapture of the church.

1COR 15:51-53 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal [must] put on immortality.

REV 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. -JESUS

Understanding and knowledge must be given by God. It is clear that this wonderful promise is imminent. Jesus told us we would not know the specific time this would take place, but that we would and should know when it was near. God would not give signs to watch for if He did not intend for us to know the general time period these things will occur. He also described the activities and attitudes of people living in the time this would take place.

MAT 24:37-44 But as the days of Noe [were], so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two [women shall be] grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

This shows people doing their everyday activities with the attitude nothing would happen when the rapture occurs, just as the case was in the days of Noah before the flood. That is hardly the case at the end of the tribulation when 100 lb hailstones rain from the sky, the ocean turns to blood, and all the green grass and tress are burnt up. It describes OUR TIME PERIOD where people are continuing on as if nothing will happen, even when facing a time unlike any other in human history. With Iran now enriching uranium to produce a nuclear weapon and threatening to wipe Israel off the face of the Earth, bible prophecy is clear that we are living in the final years before the return of the king.

HEB 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some [is]; but exhorting [one another]: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Mat 24:33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, [even] at the doors.

Luk 21:34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and [so] that day come upon you unawares.

1 THESS 5:1-4 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

In a moment people will vanish from this world when God takes those who trust in His son's finished work on the cross to be enough to save them. The world will think it was aliens from outer space, and satan has been preparing this lie for some time now. Anyone who does not trust in Christ's finished work to be enough to save them will be left behind. There are many in apostate churches across the world who teach and accept that other works are required to be admitted into heaven. The world will also point to these apostate churches and cry out that it could not have been God who had done this.

What will you do with the knowledge that something is going on that you don't know much about with this level of importance? A wise decision would be to seek Him while there is time. Your eternal soul is not worth the cares of this life, the opinions of others, or the pride of holding onto either.

Salvation is available to all who believe on Him.

JHN 5:24-Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

There were over 360 prophecies foretold about the coming Jewish Messiah - hundreds of years before Jesus was born in Bethlehem. Jesus fulfilled all 365 of these prophecies. The world is increasingly tolerant of every religion except for the truth: that Jesus Christ died for the sins of mankind to set us free. Many people believe if you do enough good things, you go to heaven. The bible teaches we are only justified by faith.

Gal 2:16- Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

He also warned there would be people who would depend on their works to get into heaven, and be sorely disappointed.

MAT 7:22-23 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Our works are good fruit that are produced by abiding in the vine, Jesus Christ, out of thanksgiving and love for what has been done for us.

JOHN 15:5 I am the vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Jesus Christ warned people of the consequences of following satan. YES FOLLOWING SATAN. Lucifer wanted to do things his own way, not Gods, and mankind in the majority has followed him. We can see the results of that mistake in our world today. Hell was created for the devil and the angels who rebelled with him.

MAT 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

Mankind has been fallen in sin since Satan deceived Adam and Eve in the garden. He has been deceiving mankind ever since and has been effective at blinding the majority of people in this world to the truth.

2Cr 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

God made an exit off the freeway from following Satan, and arriving at his final destination. He sent Jesus Christ, His only son, to die for the sins of mankind.

People witnessed Him in person for 40 days after His resurrection and died proclaiming what they saw. The power of Jesus Christ has touched millions. Delivered countless people hopelessly stuck in alcoholism, depression, drugs, and countless other snares of sin. The power of God is a real thing, not something people just talk about. If you have never gone to God for yourself and found out first hand, don't let the devil keep you from knowing the love of God any longer.

There is only one truth apart from anyone's beliefs in the world, and the rest are a mess of lies. There is what IS, and what IS NOT no matter what anyone may think or believe about the issue. If I walked into a room with a group of people and started a rumor that I had $5,000 in my wallet, some would believe it, and some would not. However that belief does not change what had actually occurred. Bible prophecy is 100% accurate. History written in advance as proof of it's diving origin. No other holy book in the world has this. Something is very different about the bible...

God does have a stern warning for those who love wickedness so much as to reject the free gift of eternal life and to continue to serve the evil in this world.

Pro 1:22-33 How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge? Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you. Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.-GOD

OR

Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

The choice is up to you. This has been a short summary to make you aware of the fact that you are missing something REALLY BIG going on in the world, and for you to look into it for yourself. You don't have to take anyone's word for it, you can know FIRST HAND the power of God in your life, and what it feels like to KNOW you're going to heaven because of the promises God has made, and will never break.
