Be Always On The Watch and Pray

Knowing the Lord is coming as He promised is exciting, and that is why watching for Him
is so exciting. It is the Glory of the Lord to conceal things, but it the glory of kings to search things out ! We will be kings and priests in His kingdom. Jesus did say," Take heed: Behold, I have
foretold you all things." Mark 13:23 I have learned a lot from you fellow blog friends and enjoy the fellowship ! Many people feel He is at the door and just looking around the world right now, lets us know the Tribulation is very near. If the Tribulation is near, He is even nearer!
God Bless,

THE RAPTURE GENERATION

If you’re reading this, and it is prior to the rapture, then you are part of that generation the Bible says will meet the Lord in the clouds!!!

Hallelujah!!!

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

After the Resurrection, a cloud hid Jesus during His Ascension to Heaven. (Acts 1:9) While the disciples were still looking into the sky for Jesus, two Angels appeared standing beside them. The Angels told the disciples that Jesus would come back in the same way He went to Heaven, which is in the clouds. (Acts 1:10-11) The Bible is the literal and factual Word of God. The Bible says Jesus Ascended to Heaven in the clouds – that’s a fact. The Bible says Jesus will meet us in the clouds at the time of the Rapture – that’s a fact.

The Rapture is the next prophetic event to take place. All other prophecies leading up to the rapture have been fulfilled exactly as God has promised in His Word. Therefore, we can take comfort in God’s Word and the Blessed Hope of the Rapture.

There are many indicators that the time of the Rapture is near. There are two in particular that will be highlighted here.

First, in Luke Chapter 21, Jesus gives the “Signs for the End of the Age”. In verse 24 Jesus says, “Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled”. That is incredible news! The “times of the Gentiles” was from 70 AD (the year Jerusalem and the Temple were destroyed) until the time Jerusalem was once again under Jewish control, which happened during the Six-Day War of 1967. The “times of the Gentiles” ended in 1967. Jesus went on to say in verses 29-32, “"Look at the fig tree and all the trees. When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near. Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near. I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened”. The fig tree is symbolic for Israel. Additionally, a generation in Bible history equates to 40 years. No doubt, Jesus is coming soon!

Second, in Matthew Chapter 24, Jesus gives more “Signs of the End of the Age”. In verse 23-24 Jesus says, “At that time if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or, 'There he is!' do not believe it. For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect—if that were possible”. This passage is like an insurance policy for the Rapture. In both the Old and New Testaments, we see Satan repeatedly attempting to imitate God. That is still the case today. We sometimes see claims of this nature in the daily news. After careful thought, we can see that anyone can stand on the Mount of Olives today and say “I am Jesus”, anyone can have a beautiful white robe made for himself, anyone can claim to be a descendent King David, anyone can have his followers crown him king of the New Israel on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, and anyone can have surgically implanted scars placed in their hands and feet. Anyone who does this would be a fraud or a “false Christ and false prophet”. God knew from the beginning of time that Satan would be out to deceive the followers of Jesus Christ. Therefore, God planned the one event that Satan could not duplicate – The Rapture!

Christians can take God at His Word. He has told us that the next time we see Jesus – it will be in “the clouds” (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17). We don’t have to worry about rumors of false Christs and prophets here on earth. Every rumor making this claim is no more than a lie from Satan. We know Christ will appear in “the clouds” and we will meet him there when the trumpet of God sounds the alarm.

Just by examining these two points, we can be sure that The Rapture is a very real event that will occur in the very near future. It is our Blessed Hope. For every Christian has redemption and salvation through the shed Blood of Jesus Christ, and the comfort of knowing that Heaven is their future – not hell and the tribulation.

Luke 21:36
Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.

Revelation 3:10
Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth.
