Today many in America and around the world are rejoicing over the election of Barack Hussein Obama to the highest political office in the United States. He is the ultimate dream-come-true of African Americans who have long fought to be recognized as free co-equal citizens after early America's terribly shameful stigma of slavery was forced upon them. The old spiritual song, "We Shall Overcome," has been realized at last.

Oprah Winfrey said, "…I've sort of been, like, pulsating all day, and now I feel like I'm, like, in full-vibrational-mode … It feels like there's a shift in consciousness. It feels like something really big and bold has happened here…"

Simon Rosenberg, president of the New Democratic Network, said, "I don't think we're going to see the restoration of an old political age, but the ushering in of a new age. They're going to rewrite the rules."

Russel Simmons, founder of the hip-hop music record company, Def Jam, said, "Obama's election as president is a beautiful testament to the American collective consciousness that is flowering. This more loving consciousness will be necessary to protect us from some of our hurtful human choices and tendencies."

Kimberley Ashley, a Republican, said, "It's not a typical answer but I believe he has a higher consciousness. I think he's more spiritually awakened and that he'll make different choices based on that and not on external forces."

Daniel Clark, 41, described Obama's win as "magical." He said, "It's like a spiritual cleansing.

Louis Farrakhan, leader of the Black Muslim's "Nation of Islam," called Barack Obama the messiah. He said, "You are the instrument that God is gonna use to bring about universal change. And that is why Barack has captured the youth. And he has involved young people in a political process that they didn't care anything about at the time. That's a sign. When the messiah speaks, the youth will hear. And the messiah is absolutely here."

Ted Howard, a 64-year-old African-American, said, "It's more spiritual than political."

Jesse Jackson, Jr., son of Rev. Jesse Jackson, said, "I cried all night. I'm going to be crying for the next four years. What Barack Obama has accomplished is the single most extraordinary event that has occurred in the 232 years of the nation's political history. The event itself is so extraordinary that another chapter could be added to the Bible to chronicle its significance." Jesse Jackson, Jr., is a Democratic member of the U.S. House of Representatives representing Illinois's Second congressional district, which includes part of the Chicago South Side.

We can understand and even feel the enthusiasm of people of African descent, not only across America, but around the world. In a sense, we rejoice with them. But, when Jesse Jackson Jr. suggested that we add another chapter to the Bible, he went too far. The world does not need another chapter added to God's completed collection of divinely inspired Scripture. Perhaps he simply meant that the world should accept what the prophecies of Scripture long ago predicted -- thus suggesting that the Bible's messiah has finally arrived.

Barack Obama's Royal Roots

I'm afraid the world will not automatically find mankind's elusive utopia with the installment of the new American president. When Barack Obama was elected, I thought, "At least, we will have a president who is not related to European royalty!" But, alas, there seems to be no light at the end of this world's darkening tunnel, because Barack Obama is related to President George W. Bush!
Barack Obama and President Bush are 10th cousins, once removed, linked by Samuel Hinckley of Cape Cod, who died in 1662. Does that name, Hinckley, sound familiar?

When John Warnock Hinckley, Jr., attempted to assassinate President Ronald Reagan in Washington, D.C. on March 30, 1981, the Houston Post reported that Hinckley is the son of one of George H. W. Bush's political and financial supporters in his 1980 presidential primary campaign against Ronald Reagan. His elder brother, Scott Hinckley, and Vice President Bush's son, Neil Bush, had a dinner appointment scheduled for the next day.

The Associated Press published the following short article on March 31, 1981:

"The family of the man charged with trying to assassinate President Reagan is acquainted with the family of Vice-President George Bush and had made large contributions to his political campaign ... Scott Hinckley, brother of John W. Hinckley Jr. was to have dined tonight in Denver at the home of Neil Bush, one of the Vice-President's sons ... The Houston Post said it was unable to reach Scott Hinckley, vice-president of his father's Denver-based firm, Vanderbilt Energy Corporation, for comment. Neil Bush lives in Denver, where he works for Standard Oil Company of Indiana. In 1978, Neil Bush served as campaign manager for his brother, George W. Bush, the vice-president's eldest son, who made an unsuccessful bid for Congress. Neil lived in Lubbock, Texas, throughout much of 1978, where John Hinckley lived from 1974 through 1980." The would-be assassin, John W. Hinckley, attended Texas Tech University during his stay in Lubbock.

Now we learn that the Hinckley family are more than friends -- they may be cousins -- cousins to both the Bush family and Barack Obama's family on his mother's side.

Obama's distant presidential cousins include President George W. Bush and his father, George H. W. Bush, Gerald Ford, Lyndon Johnson, Harry S. Truman and James Madison.

The New England Historic Genealogical Society released their genealogy report after tracing the family trees of the presidential candidates. It is a fact that Barack Obama, the son of a white woman from Kansas and a black man from Kenya, is related to several presidents across both party lines. Founded in 1845, the New England Historic Genealogical Society is the oldest and largest nonprofit genealogical organization in the country.

Obama is also related to other politicians, such as Vice President Dick Cheney, British Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill and Civil War General Robert E. Lee. The vice president's wife, Lynne Cheney, announced her discovery while discussing her new book, Blue Skies, No Fences, on MSNBC.

When asked if she would support Hillary Rodham Clinton because she is a woman, Lynne Cheney said, "I have to admit to a certain bias here … Dick and Barack Obama are eighth cousins."

Mrs. Cheney said that it was "an amazing American story that one ancestor … could be responsible down the family line for lives that have taken such different and varied paths."

Then asked if she supported Obama she quickly said, "No."

According to Chicago Sun-Times, "The Obama camp made light of the family ties. ‘Every family has a black sheep,' said spokeswoman Jen Psaki, with tongue firmly planted in cheek."

The Chicago Sun-Times revealed the genealogical link in early September, claiming that the shared ancestors were Mareen and Susannah Duvall, 17th century immigrants from France. The Duvalls are Obama's great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great(9)-grandparents, and Dick Cheney's great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great(8)-grandparents, the paper said.

Jesse Jackson's Comment

Rev. Jesse Jackson, appointed in 1966 by Civil Rights leader Martin Luther King to be the national director of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC), was caught on camera with happy tears coursing down his cheeks at the Nov. 4, Tuesday Night Obama Victory Rally in Chicago's Grant Park. The New York Post quoted the veteran civil rights leader as having said, "Although Zionists who have controlled American policy for decades remain strong, they will lose much of their clout when Obama enters the White House."

Congratulations from Iran

Iranian president, Mahmoud Ahmadinajad, congratulated Obama on his election victory, saying, "I congratulate you on being able to attract the majority of votes of the participants of the election. You know the opportunities bestowed upon people by God are short-lived. I hope you make the most of the chance of service and leave a good name by preferring people's real interests and justice to the insatiable demands of a selfish and indecent minority. The great Iranian nation welcomes real, basic and fair changes in behavior and policies, especially in this region. You are generally expected to make a fast and clear response to the demands for basic... change in U.S. domestic and foreign policy, which all people in the world and Americans want on top of your agenda." The Iranian president said Obama is expected to replace U.S. "militaristic policies, occupation... and the imposition of unfair and discriminatory relations with an attitude based on justice, respect for nations' rights and non-interference. The US government's interference should be limited to that country's geographical boundaries."

Congratulations from Hamas

Ahmed Yousef, Hamas' chief political adviser in the Gaza Strip, told WND in an exclusive interview, "We believe the election of Sen. Barack Obama is an ‘historic victory' for the world and an opportunity to change U.S. foreign policy toward engagement with America's foes."

Yousef, speaking by cell phone from Gaza, said Hamas is drafting a letter of congratulation to be sent directly to Obama. He said the current draft of the letter praises the president-elect as ‘another John F. Kennedy, or great Roosevelt.' ‘We want to be one of the first to congratulate him,' Yousef said. ‘This is an historic day, a turning point. I think this is the very first time in history that one country's election concerned everyone everywhere all over [the] world,' said Yousef. ‘Everybody is looking forward to Obama's change, for a change in the U.S. policy, particularly in the Israeli-Palestinian equation, which is the mother of all conflicts.'"

Michelle Obama's Jewish Roots

Some in Israel are worried that Barack Obama may forsake the Jews in favor of the Palestinians, or that he is somehow a secret Muslim. But, there is a bright note to consider.

Obama's wife is related to Rabbi Capers Funnye (pronounced "Fuh-NAY"), one of the nation's most prominent black rabbis. He and Michelle Obama are cousins. Funnye's mother, Verdelle Robinson Funnye, and Michelle Obama's paternal grandfather, Frasier Robinson, Jr., were brother and sister.

Rabbi Funnye is the chief rabbi of the Beth Shalom B'nai Zaken Ethiopian Hebrew Congregation in southwest Chicago. He is well known in Jewish circles for acting as a bridge between mainstream Jewry and the much smaller, and largely separate, world of black Jewish congregations, sometimes known as black Hebrews, or Israelites. He has often urged the larger Jewish community to be more accepting of Jews who are not white.

In this presidential campaign, Funnye's famous relative gives an unexpected twist to the relationship between Barack Obama and the Jewish community. On the one hand, Jewish political organizers, voters and donors -- including some of the city's wealthiest and most prominent families -- played an essential role in Obama's rise to power in Chicago.

Rabbi Funnye told the Jewish publication, Forward, "I know that her grandfather and her father and my mom and all of our relatives that are now deceased would be so very, very proud of both of them." Funnye, 56, has known Michelle Obama (born Michelle Robinson), 44, since she was born. Both grew up on the South Side of Chicago, and Funnye's mother and Obama's father enjoyed a close relationship.

"Her father was like the glue of our family," Funnye said. "He always wanted to keep the family very connected and to stay in touch with each other." Funnye and Michelle saw each other several times a year when they were growing up, mostly at family functions and on occasional visits to each other's homes. Michelle's mother, Marian Robinson, recalled Funnye and his family coming over for visits and said that he and her children were "as close as cousins could be."

The two fell out of touch when they grew older, but they reconnected years later when Obama was working for the University of Chicago and Funnye was leading a local social service organization called The Blue Gargoyle. Funnye also worked with Barack Obama, who, as a state senator, came and spoke at events for the organization. When Barack and Michelle Obama married, Funnye and his family attended the wedding. Funnye said that he and the Obamas have not been in touch since the presidential campaign began."

Rahm Emanuel's Jewish Roots

Here is another interesting note: Obama's first appointment went to Rahm Emanuel for White House Chief of Staff. Rahm Israel Emanuel was born in Chicago. His first name, Rahm, is Hebrew for "high" or "lofty," while his last name, Emanuel, means "God is with us." According to his father, his son is the namesake of Rahamim, a family friend and member of a Jewish paramilitary group who was killed. Rahm's surname was adopted by his family in 1933 after Rahm's paternal uncle, Emanuel Auerbach, was killed in a skirmish with Arabs in Jerusalem.

Emanuel's father, Benjamin M. Emanuel, was born in Jerusalem and was a former member of the Jewish militia, Irgun, which operated from 1931 to 1948 during the British Mandate of Palestine. The commander of the Irgun militia eventually became a famous Israeli statesman -- Prime Minister Menachem Begin.

When Emanuel and his wife Amy Rule were married, his close friend and fellow Chicagoan David Axelrod, Chief Strategist for the 2008 Barack Obama presidential campaign, signed the ketuba, a Jewish marriage contract, which is normally signed by a relative. One can be sure that Israel will have a friend in the White House.

Is Obama the Antichrist?

According to Google Trends, and a first-hand account by having access to the log files for a site on page one in Google for the term, a disturbing massive surge in traffic for the keyword "antichrist" is being reported. A Google spokesman said, "Take it for what it's worth but this is a problem that we have never seen in politics to this extent before."

President Bush's Royal Bloodline

For those of you who have read our book, Guardians of the Grail, you may be interested to learn that President George Bush is related to all 60 royal families in Europe. So said the Washington Times (July 6, 1988). Bush is a fourth cousin fifteen times removed of King Ferdinand I, the first king of United Spain and his wife Isabella. They are the royal couple who sent Christopher Columbus on his voyage across the Atlantic in 1492. So said Harold Brooks-Baker, an analyst of royal lineages.

According to Author Gary Boyd Roberts, in his book, Ancestors of American Presidents (1989, page 294) Bush's relationship with Ferdinand I and Isabella makes him an "ancestor of all later kings of Spain; of all Holy Roman and Austrian Emperors (the Habsburg dynasty) beginning with Charles V; of all kings of France and Great Britain beginning with Louis XIII and Charles II, respectively; of all Prussian and German emperors; and of all Russian czars beginning with Alexander I."

Perhaps that relationship with the Habsburg dynasty was the underlying reason why Prescott Bush (grandfather of George W.) and his bank Brown Brothers Harriman, financed Adolf Hitler's rise to power. According to an FBI report to Franklin D. Roosevelt, Hitler was the illegitimate son of the Habsburg emperor and Hitler's mother, who worked as a maid in the royal palace.

George Bush is also related to several other U.S. Presidents: George Washington, Millard Fillmore, Franklin Pierce, Abraham Lincoln, Ulysses Grant, Rutherford B. Hayes, James A. Garfield, Grover Cleveland, Theodore Roosevelt, William Howard Taft, Calvin Coolidge, Herbert Hoover, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Richard Nixon, and Gerald Ford.

But that's not all. President Bush is also related to Vice President Dan Quayle, who in turn, is related to 21 of Britain's 26 dukes, according to Brooks-Baker.

First Lady, Barbara Pierce Bush, is also one of her husband's distant cousins. Both Barbara and George H. W. Bush are descendants of President Franklin Pierce. Bush's American roots go back to Francis Cooke, one of the signers of the Mayflower Compact. These are impressive royal roots!

Presidential Roots

In recent years, Americans have shown an interest in genealogies -- family trees. Many of America's presidents descended from European royalty. George Washington descended from the same family that produced the present English royal family. Furthermore, many families of royal descent living in Washington's time intermarried, producing occupants of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Believe it or not, research has proven that an unusual number of American presidents were related to each other.

George H. W. Bush is directly related to fifteen former presidents and is a "near kin" to several others. The term "near kin" means that he is related to a president who, in turn, is related to another president. Among the relatives of George Bush are Gerald Ford and the late Richard Nixon. Others relatives included George Washington, Millard Fillmore, Franklin Pierce, Abraham Lincoln, William Taft, Calvin Coolidge, Herbert Hoover, and Franklin D. Roosevelt. Furthermore, George Bush was kin to the late Princess Diana, mother of the next king of England.

Don't miss this -- George Bush is related to both Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford. Nixon and Ford are from the same family! It seems rather strange that Nixon would choose a relative to succeed him as president, but he did. Furthermore, Jimmy Carter, the Democrat who won the presidential race against Republican Gerald Ford was related to Richard Nixon who, in turn, was related to Ford! That makes Jimmy Carter a "near kin" to Gerald Ford, his opponent in the race for the White House. It seems rather suspicious that a sort of "royal" dynasty seems to be in control of both parties and America's royal residence.

Franklin D. Roosevelt's family tree included sixteen presidents: George Washington, John Q. Adams, Van Buren, Taylor, Fillmore, Pierce, Grant, Hayes, Garfield, Cleveland, Teddy Roosevelt, Taft, Coolidge, Nixon, Ford, and Bush.

Gerald Ford was born Leslie Lynch King Jr., in 1913. He took his stepfather's name as a child. King/Ford's family tree includes fourteen presidents: Millard Fillmore, Abraham Lincoln, U. S. Grant, Rutherford B. Hayes, James A. Garfield, Grover Cleveland, Benjamin Harrison, William Howard Taft, Warren Harding, Calvin Coolidge, Herbert Hoover, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Richard Nixon and George Bush.

Bill Clinton's Royal Roots

In an Associated Press article published in The Daily Oklahoman, October 28, 1996, Harold Brooks-Baker, director of Burke's Peerage, a London based publishing house that traces the lineage of royal and noble families, said that Bill Clinton and Bob Dole had more in common than wanting to be president. They are distant cousins! However, Clinton has bluer blood, giving him an election edge.

Bill Clinton was born William Jefferson Blythe, but took his stepfather's name as a teenager. Clinton's ancestry can be traced back, on his mother's side, to King Henry III who ruled England from 1227 to 1272. He is descended from King Robert I of France.

Furthermore, he is related to every Scottish monarch and to the current British royal family. Clinton's royal roots include several medieval monarchs and Simon de Montford, a statesman and soldier under King Henry III. Through de Montford, Clinton is related to every ancient aristocratic family in Britain today.

In 1992, we called Burke's Peerage and asked if they had done any research into Clinton's lineage. We were told that they had not done a genealogical search on his ancestry. It seemed strange to us at the time that they denied knowing anything about Clinton. Shortly afterward, we came across an AP story that linked Clinton to a Gypsy king -- citing Burke's Peerage as a source. We again called Burke's Peerage and repeated our request. Again, they told us that no work had been done. That's when we read the article to the person on the phone, naming Harold Brookes-Baker as a source. She then admitted that they had done some work on the genealogy. She said we should talk with Harold Brooks-Baker, himself. She requested we fax a letter and request a reply.

We did as she asked. Two days later, having received no reply, we called again. This time, we were able to get Mr. Harold Brooks-Baker on the phone. He asked why we wanted the information, and said he would have to clear our request with the White House. He said, "It's a very touchy subject." He talked like there might be something to hide.

Bill Clinton's family goes back to William Henry Harrison and Benjamin Harrison, making him related to Gerald Ford and Jimmy Carter. His kinship to Ford makes him "near kin" to Richard Nixon and George Bush. Small world, isn't it?

The Merovingian Connection

Historians claim that the royal houses of Europe are the descendants of Merovee who, in turn, descended from a so-called "marriage" of Jesus Christ and Mary Magdalene. However, Merovee claimed to have descended from the Trojans, whose roots lay in the Spartans. According to Homer's Iliad, the Spartans were first called Danaans, and hailed from Phoenicia, home of the ancient Israelite tribe of Danites. Rabbinical writings, dating from the Testament of the Twelve Patriarchs (circa. 150 B.C.), suggest that the Antichrist will rise from the tribe of Dan.

Irenaeus (c. A.D. 180) wrote: "Jeremiah does not merely point out the Antichrist's sudden coming, but he even indicates the tribe from which he will come, when he says, ‘We will hear the voice of this swift horses from Dan'" (Jeremiah 8:16).

Hippolytus (c. A.D. 200) wrote: "He says, ‘Dan is a lion's whelp' (Deuteronomy 33:22). And in naming the tribe of Dan, he clearly declared the tribe from which the Antichrist is destined to spring. Just as Christ comes from the tribe of Judah, so the Antichrist is to come from the tribe of Dan."

The Danite connection with European royalty offers a distinct possibility that the future Antichrist will arise from the royal roots of Rome and Greece. It is not necessary that the Antichrist be from France. He could be from any of the nations mentioned, and still be a Merovingian, whose family genealogy extends back to the French king Merovee. He could be from European royalty or even an American president. Only time will tell.

Early theologians accepted the notion that Danite women consorted with the Nephilim, offspring of the fallen angels who inhabited the country around Mount Herman. If so, then the "seed" of the serpent mentioned in Genesis 3:15, could continue to proliferate down through the ages in the royal offspring of Israel's lost tribe -- the Danites.

Obama's African Family Lineage

Now that we have learned about Obama's royal "Danite" roots on his mother's side, we are intrigued with the possibility that his African father might have roots in the black Jews of East Africa. The Republic of Kenya is a country in East Africa. It is bordered by Ethiopia on the north, Somalia to the northeast, Tanzania on the south, Uganda on the west, and Sudan to the northwest, with the Indian Ocean running along the southeast border. Further to the south, along the border between South Africa and Zimbabwe, lies the territory of the Lemba tribe -- a tribe with DNA proof that they are from the tribes of Judah and Levi. Kenya lies between Ethiopia, home of the Ethiopian Jews, and Zimbabwe, home of the Lemba tribe. It is entirely possible that many people with genetic links to the royal tribe of Judah live throughout Kenya.

As of now, we have no specific genetic information, but we are told that King Solomon of the royal tribe of Judah married the Queen of Sheba and produced a son, Menelik, who returned to Ethiopia after receiving his formal education in Jerusalem. By the way, Solomon was the son of Bath-sheba (meaning "house of Sheba"). It is entirely possible that Solomon's mother was of Ethiopian origin, as well.

According to the BritAm.org website, Judaism expects a messiah, whose father is from the lineage of David and Solomon, and whose mother is from the tribe of Dan. Israeli author Yair Davidy writes:

"A Midrash states that Samson the legendary judge hero had a Danite father and a mother from Judah, whereas the future Messiah will have a father from Judah and a mother from Dan" (Genesis Rabah 98:13).

The rabbis expect their messiah to be a mere mortal, who has received a divine anointing from God after the manner of Moses. They do not believe that he will be deity. However, the Apostle Paul said that the future Antichrist will sit "in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God" (II Thes. 2:4). With the Antichrist's betrayal, religious Judaism will be in disarray. The orthodox will leave Jerusalem, many fleeing to the wilderness to escape the Antichrist.

The Human Genome Project

The release of the Human Genome Project in the summer of the year 2000 was one of the most powerful moments in the history of mankind. We remember the excited celebration among scientists and philosophers, as this vaunted project concluded its work. The prodigious labor of mapping the human genetic code had been proceeding for years. The final result was a long book of DNA sequences that were called "scrolls containing the instructions for life."

Wendy Wipple, in "The History of the World in the Molecules of Life" writes:

"The discovery of DNA as the blueprint of life in the 1950s was the starting block of a race to understand the molecular basis of life. One of the more intriguing findings to follow was that specific pieces of DNA can be used to study human history. Genetic anthropologists are now busy decoding that history, written in the molecules of life since the beginning of time. It is a record being deciphered only in our generation, and one, which confirms the history of man recorded in Scripture in amazing detail.

"Genetic anthropology is conducted using the Y-chromosome and mitochondrial DNA, two segments that have unique properties that facilitate studies of multigenerational inheritance. Y-chromosome DNA is passed only from father to son; similarly, mitochondrial DNA is passed only from the mother to her offspring. In addition, both accumulate changes at a predictable rate, producing genetic ‘bread crumbs' that make it possible to follow these markers as a population moved around the globe.

"Further, Y-chromosome studies show that the Jewish people were, in fact, globally dispersed, yet retained genetic and national identity to a remarkable degree. Jews from Europe, the Middle East, and Northern Africa shared almost identical genetic profiles, with only slight differences, which nonetheless allow the Diaspora to be traced, showing clear westward movement in both Europe and Northern Africa after A.D. 70. One of the more intriguing applications of Y-chromosome and mitochondrial DNA testing is its ongoing revelation of the depths of the dispersal, confirming long-held traditions of Jewish origin among certain isolated tribes. The South African Lemba's claims to Judaic heritage, for example, were largely ignored until genetic profiling finally demonstrated a high prevalence of the Cohen Modal Haplotype (CMH) among their male members. Numerous similar populations, spread across the globe, have been genetically identified as descendants of Israel as well."

"God's promise to keep His people throughout their exile (and to gather them to Himself before the end times) is also being documented. Genetic analysis has shown that hidden Jews fled the Spanish Edict of Expulsion in 1492 in the crews of Spanish ships bound for the New World and spread their descendants therein, confirmed genetically most recently in long-term Hispanic residents of New Mexico and in the Melungeons, a mystery population in Tennessee who appear to be descendants of the earliest Spanish landings along the east coast, including the vanished colony at Roanoke in the early 1500s. As Jews around the world reclaim their history, genetic confirmation of their heritage is being employed to both confirm their heritage and support their repatriation, creating the ingathering of Jewish exiles predicted by the Bible. We are seeing prophecy fulfilled before our eyes!

"As fascinating as the detailed parallel of DNA analysis with the history of the world written in Scripture is, the most significant application of the technology may be yet to come, fulfilling prophetic aspects of the future. As exciting as providing a genetic way to verify the credentials of the Messiah may be, the possibility looms that the technology could be misapplied. Will a world leader emerge whose (only recently possible) genetic profile can confirm a valid claim to the Davidic throne? Only time will tell. But DNA, the molecule of life, will continue to write the story."

Conclusion

If Obama has Jewish roots by way of Kenya, he may be keeping it quiet, so as not to disturb his chances of warming up to the Islamic world, dividing Jerusalem, creating a Palestinian State, and moving the world toward global government.
