Security in Salvation

1 Corinthians 15:1
Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you,
which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
1 Corinthians 15:2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you,
unless ye have believed in vain.
1 Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ
died for our sins according to the scriptures;
1 Corinthians 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Romans 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers,
nor things present, nor things to come,
Romans 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love
of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation:
in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Ephesians 1:14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased
possession, unto the praise of his glory.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Ephesians 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

“Works” vs. “No Works”

James 1:1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ,
to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.

James 1:20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

James 2:14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works?
can faith save him?

James 2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

James 2:20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
James 2:21
Was not Abraham our father justified by works,
when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?

James 2:22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?

James 2:24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

By making comparisons of James and Ephesians. Anyone and Everyone (If you have a sixth grade
education) can see that they are NOT saying the same thing. Therefore they have to be said to two
different people. The Bible would prove to being lying if it tells a person to do works for justification
then also tells that same person that he is justified without works.
James is speaking to Israel in Ages to Come. Ages to Come is future prophecy for Israel,
after the Church the body of Christ is, (Raptured) taken up to Heaven.

What did James say:

James 1:1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ,
to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.

Are you one of the 12 tribes of Israel.?? NO!! and neither are you “spiritual Israel.”
Israel has been cast away, they are at the level of Gentiles during this age of Grace.
Preachers like to say, that “We have been raised to the level of Israel,” “that makes us spiritual Israel.”

Wrong Answer !! Don’t you believe it.

What did Paul say???

Ephesians 2:8
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Ephesians 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Romans 3:27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

Romans 4:4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.
Romans 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly,
his faith is counted for righteousness.
Romans 4:6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth
righteousness without works,
Romans 4:7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.

Romans 11:6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace.
But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith
of Jesus Christ,
even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith
of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

2 Timothy 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works,
but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

2 Timothy 1:10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath
abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

Paul Establishes His Ministry to the Gentiles.

2 Timothy 1:11 Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.

Acts 9:15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name
before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:

Acts 18:6 And when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he shook his raiment, and said unto them,
Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean; from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles.

Acts 22:21 And he said unto me, Depart: for I will send thee far hence unto the Gentiles.

Romans 11:13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:

Ephesians 3:8 Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach
among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;
Ephesians 3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning
of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

Colossians 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among
the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

1 Timothy 2:7 Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ,
and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.

The Different Gospels

A. Gospel of God
establishes who Jesus Christ is
; Messiah, Prince of Peace, Son of God, God in the Flesh, etc.
Jesus, the 12 disciples and Paul were all involved in preaching the gospel of God.

Romans 1:1 Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,
Romans 1:2 (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)
Romans 1:3 Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David
according to the flesh;

Romans 1:4 And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness,
by the resurrection from the dead:

Romans 1:5 By whom we have received grace and apostle-ship, for obedience to the faith among
all nations, for his name:

Paul preaches the gospel of God to both Jew and Gentile in the synagogues, after receiving salvation
on the road to Damascus. The Gentiles in the synagogues were either blessing Israel or they were
proselytes that had assumed the faith of Israel.

They called themselves Jews but were not Jews. These proselytes were the ones grafted in, the Church
the body of Christ is never grafted into Israel.

It was by the gospel of God that the Church of the Little Flock was born.
The Little Flock is the church made up of both Jew’s and Gentiles that feared God, Saul (Paul).
Paul did NOT persecute the Church the body of Christ.

Paul was the first; Paul established the Church the body of Christ.
The Little Flock was IN Christ but NOT IN the Church the body of Christ.

The Little Flock had to endure in their faith, to the end of their lives or in the 7 year tribulation,
(which ever came first), to have their sins remitted. Their sins will be blotted out when the times of
refreshing come with the return of Christ to this Earth. Peter was the overseer and Apostle of the Little Flock.

The Church the body of Christ does NOT go through the 7 year tribulation. When we come to salvation
in this dispensation of, Grace alone through Faith alone, our sins are removed and forgiven immediately.

Remission (or sins remitted) is NOT the same as having sins Forgiven.

B. Gospel of Christ

The gospel of God had to be established before Paul could introduce the Gospel of Christ which he
received by revelation from the ascended Lord Jesus Christ.
Paul was “called” once to the Jews and
“those that feared God,” (proselytes) or Gentiles that "feared God." Paul was “called” a second time
to go to the Gentiles only.

Acts 13:46 Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should
first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting
life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to
every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Paul called the Gospel of Christ, "My Gospel". The reason Paul called it his gospel is because he had
received revelations from Christ; these revelations were never before known to man.
They were not written in the Old Testament.

Romans 2:16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not
after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Romans 8:10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because
of righteousness.

1 Corinthians 11:1 Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.

1 Corinthians 15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you,
which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

1 Corinthians 15:2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless
ye have believed in vain.

1 Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died
for our sins according to the scriptures;

1 Corinthians 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

2 Corinthians 10:14 For we stretch not ourselves beyond our measure, as though we reached not unto you:
for we are come as far as to you also in preaching the gospel of Christ:

2 Corinthians 12:1 It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations
of the Lord.

1 Thessalonians 3:2 And sent Timotheus, our brother, and minister of God, and our fellowlabourer
in the gospel of Christ, to establish you, and to comfort you concerning your faith:

Galatians 1:6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ
unto another gospel:

Galatians 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that
which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

C. The Gospel of Grace

The gospel of grace started in the church of Ephesians. Israel at this time had been cast away. During
the time of the gospel of Christ, (Romans, Corinthians, Thessalonians and Galatians) people could still
bless Israel. With the Ephesians there was no longer the opportunity to bless Israel; that is the situation
also for us today. When Israel was cast away they became as Gentiles and could only receive from God
salvation just as the rest of the World.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Ephesians 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Ephesians 2:12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel,
and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

Remember Israel has been set aside for a time. Israel will be restored when this time that we are in now
is completed at the catching away (Rapture) of the saints.

Ephesians 3:2 If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:
Ephesians 3:3 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,
Ephesians 3:4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)
Ephesians 3:5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed
unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

Ephesians 3:8 Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach
among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

Ephesians 3:9
And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning
of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

Apostle Paul referred "unsearchable riches of Christ" because those riches could not be researched
and found out about in the Old Testament prophecies; that is, that man would be save by Grace alone
through Faith alone.

Ephesians 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
Ephesians 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
Ephesians 4:6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Philippians 3:17 Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have
us for an ensample.

Philippians 3:20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour,
the Lord Jesus Christ:

Philippians 4:9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen
in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

Philippians 4:23 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

Thank you for studying with me. Norm Cady

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not
to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Let's get it rightly divided between the Jewish Kingdom Church

and this age of grace we live in today, which is for the Body of Christ:
