Do All Roads Lead To Heaven ?

All Roads Lead to Heaven…Not

If we are to be politically correct as we live our faith then by all means all roads lead to Heaven. Can a Christian believe in multiple roads leading to Heaven and God Almighty? The Holy Scriptures are the key to answering that question. One of our current White House hopefuls, claiming to be a Christian, believes just that. Along with his claim of following Jesus, he also believes in a woman’s right to kill her unborn babies, and the homosexual’s right to legitimize their perverted lifestyle. The list goes on and on. No truly born again believer in Christ would or could accept any of the above cultural issues as being God-ordained. Most Christians know by heart the verse below quoted by God Almighty Himself, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me,” John 14:6. Since we only have one God and Jesus Christ is God, when He tells us that no man comes to the Father, but by Him, He uses definite terms. He disregards all political correctness and plainly states the facts. How, then, can it be so difficult to understand?

Many Christians across this land of ours have been presented with the following question “Are there many roads that lead to Heaven?” A firm majority have made the following false declaration, “Yes”. Why, after reading the words of God Himself, would any born again believer in Christ declare as truth, “There are many roads that lead to Heaven”? The reason is either political correctness or a complete disregard for the word of God, or both.

Jesus Christ died on that cross almost two thousand years ago so you and I could make a choice, a choice that would place our name in the Lamb’s Book of Life, or if we made the wrong choice our name would be absent from that book. No matter how good a person we are, God has but one requirement for entering into Heaven. That one requirement is to believe on the one He sent (Jesus the Christ). You may be the most wonderful loving and giving person on the face of this earth, but if your name is not written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, then when you die you won’t be heading for Heaven; you’ll be headed in the opposite direction. No amount of political correctness can change that truth. “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire ,” Revelation 20:15.

Jesus’ claim of exclusivity is not politically correct, but He does offer the most wonderful and precious gift ever freely given and it isn’t meant to leave some out or to weed out good people from bad people “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Romans 3:23. All are sinners, we all fall short of the glory of God. Oops! No PC there. What Jesus did was to take our punishment. He took our place on that cross. He died on that cross for you and for me. He died so we wouldn’t have to. We are all guilty of sinning and just like criminals in our society today who, being found guilty, are required to pay for their crimes. Someone had to pay for the crimes of humanity so humanity wouldn’t have to. Jesus did that. In God’s eyes, until we become born again believers in His Son, we are all guilty. We can’t take any other road to rectify that truth. If there are many roads that lead to Heaven, then Jesus died for nothing and our faith is in vain. “And if Christ be not raised, your faith [is] vain; ye are yet in your sins,” 1 Corinthians 15:17.

As I’ve stated above “All roads lead to Heaven” is a belief held by many, even professing Christians. They believe all of society’s ills can be made right by being tolerant. By society accepting all people and their depraved lifestyles as normal, we can come away with a wonderful utopian existence. Be assured that a person who makes such claims isn’t speaking for God, but he is being politically correct. These people are in actuality worshipping the enemy of God, not God. “And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world,” Revelation 13:8.

Being politically correct by being tolerant of all lifestyles actually excludes Christians. I’m speaking about truly born again believers in Christ who refuse to give in to the norm of a society blatantly disregarding Gods moral laws. Political correctness in the not-so-distant future will include being intolerant of Christians. It is going to become politically correct to exclude Christians as a part of the end times society remaining on earth.

God’s word is perfect and He supplies all our needs. God’s word is the instrument that we’re to use to govern our lives. Born again believers in Christ have moral laws to live by and God never meant for His moral laws to be for just one segment of the society, but for the entire world.

Many cultural tolerances fly in the face of God such as abortion and the abomination of homosexuality, as well as all sexual sins. Instead of being a good witness to those who don’t know God, many Christians are adopting a posture of political correctness. We can take stock in our assurance that God’s wrath will be swift and severe. If you think I’ve erred in my assessment of the world’s situation, just take a look at California burning. Unprecedented lightening strikes, over 1400 fires burning out of control, and it all happened after four deceived individuals dressed in black robes made their insane decision. “Behold, the eyes of the Lord GOD [are] upon the sinful kingdom (USA) and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; Amos 9:8.

In November we are to elect a man who will run this country for the next four years. His decisions as President of the United States of America will affect each and every American citizen as well as many citizens of other countries. As a once Christian nation of believers shouldn’t we, the few remaining believers, do everything possible to make sure we don’t elect a man who will put into effect such drastic changes to our culture that true Christians and, of course, their antiquated morals will find themselves no longer welcome in this nation?

If elected, B. Hussein Obama will be an instigator of evil. He professes to be a Christian but anyone even slightly familiar with the word of God who believes what it says should be distressed at this man’s profession that all roads lead to Heaven. He admits that his mother didn’t believe in Jesus Christ as savior yet Obama is sure his mother is in Heaven today. It would be politically correct for me to agree with him. However, according to God’s word, his mother isn’t in Heaven. It’s not PC, but it is the truth.

Jesus commands us in Mark 16:15 whence we’ve become His followers to “…Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” No, He didn’t say anything about being politically correct; He just said go and preach His Gospel. The Gospel of Christ is “His death, burial, and resurrection”. We must believe in that Gospel and no other to be saved. It wasn’t politically correct for God to die for His creation; it was imperative. No other road will suffice.

We all know that proclaiming to be a Christian while running for the highest office of the land is expedient to garner the Christian vote. But when a candidates’ stance on the cultural issues is at complete odds with the true Christian’s beliefs, why would a true Christian vote for such a person? They wouldn’t, and they won’t. Voting for such a man would be tantamount to voting for Satan to get us into Heaven. What I’m saying isn’t politically correct, but here it goes. No true believer in Christ would do it.

No matter if you’re a Democrat, Republican, or whatever, if you are a born again believer in Jesus Christ you’ll vote for the person who is less likely to promote evil and perverse lifestyles. God will place in that position who He wants and, if that person be someone who is going to bring this country to the brink of disaster, that’s up to God. If we, as a nation, elect B. Hussein Obama to the office of the Presidency, then it may very well be a curse on this nation for giving God the boot in almost all arenas of our private and public lives.

Elect B. Hussein Obama to the highest office of this land, and I promise you we will reap what we’ve sewn. God will not be mocked. “…know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God,” James 4:4.

God save us from ourselves.
