Martha Martha ....Choose The One Good Part

One of my favorite movies is "Ground Hog Day" The guy keeps on getting to do it over and over till he finally gets it RIGHT ! Life is a little like that. What does the Lord require of us,
anyway. He simply wants us to trust and believe Him as a little child would. Tell your sweet little grand daughter about Noah and the flood, and she will believe you .....NO QUESTIONS ASKED.
Tell the same story to an adult friend, and they might come with two dozen ...well I see it this way, etc., etc. !? The Lord simply wants us to walk humbly before Him, because we finally get it right.
We did it our way for a long time, but now we see He just wants us to accept the PRICE HE PAID FOR US. He did something we could not do for ourselves and that was save our selves from our wicked sins we committed, no matter how hard we might have tried to get it right....over and over.

It seems like we worry about too much. We are like drunk with the cares of the world and not sober enough to just really believe Him and get to the point we we can stop our wrath, and evil speaking because we really believe Him and trust Him. Because He is coming for us soon, we can finally have the power to only speak good, uplifting things to our brothers and sisters,
because we believe Him. He is coming soon for us. Even though He forgave all our sins,
we can finally get it right with the help of His Holy Spirit. What do we choose to do?
Keep worrying and failing over much, or do we finally choose the one thing that can't be taken away.....begin to spend some unworried, thankful time at the feet of Jesus and begin to grow
and know more about what He wants and desires us to not be in the dark about.

Christ reproves Martha and commends Mary

38 Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.
39 And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word.
40 But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.
41 And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:
42 But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.
