Even our "affections" and "thoughts" are not to be concerned with the things on earth IT'S POLITICS ETC...NOBAMA, ETC...; they are to be centred on " the things above "where Christ is already seated at the right hand of God. Hence, we do not read in those Epistles about the coming of Christ to the earth, but rather about our being removed to be with Him where pie is, not about His parousia, or presence on earth, or " in the air " ; but about............................................................................................ (our presence and manifestation ) ........ with Him in His own glory (even before He comes down in the air). ...not about anastasis or resurrection (which is the subject of the earlier Pauline Epistles), but about an "ex-anastasis," (Phil. 3: 11) and "the calling on high" (Phil. 3: 14) which is the subject of the later Epistles; not about any personal happiness which we may have, but about Christ's personal glory, in which we have the wondrous privilege of sharing.
It mentions "when Christ stands up ...(Even to first get ready to come down in the air...) He will be Manifested and so will we be then. That's our snatching up to be manifested with Christ Jesus ....Even BEFORE the others..A while back....I listen to a Martin and Dan's radio archive show.... Dan laid the ground work and talked about 3 callings. One on earth, one being snatched up into the sky , and a higher calling. He did not say any more on it or elaborate on it. I read the verse in Cor about when Christ stands up to be Manifested, we will also be Manifested.....BOOOM...just like that. Sure looked to me like it could be before the snatching away of anyone in the clouds....! Now after searching for more truth on it...As my fine brother would not elaborate.....I came onto this material about three callings. Bullinger believes ......What I can see quite possible to be true...Anyway we will just have to wait... I hope not long TO SEE ! LOL
